Dinasty Hotel

The breakfast was plentiful and varied, and we were happy with our stay even though the hotel wasn’t ideal. Dinasty Hotel is in the wider city center of Tirana. The rooms were clean and neat, a reasonable size, and the bathroom was average. The interior is kitschy and really not my style.

The owners are there every day to make sure guests are cared for, and they paid impeccable attention to our diets and requests. The hospitality was amazing, the suites are big by European standards, and everything was super clean. The chef picked fresh organic ingredients daily at local seasonal markets. They have the best wine selection in Albania. Our stay at Dinasty felt like a boutique experience. We’ll be back soon, thank you Dinasty. 🥰🤩🇦🇱

The place feels like a garden tucked into the middle of the city. The hotel has a vintage feel, and its dated decoration gives it character, almost like stepping back in time. Rooms are clean, bathrooms have been refurbished, and the service is impeccable. An absolute gem.

This was easily one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. We were there for six days, and the hotel was mostly empty. It’s hard to believe the other reviews. Please read this before booking. It was never a five-star experience. Our suite was freezing and poorly insulated, so we slept under three bedsheets. The terrace hadn’t been cleaned at all. The hallway smelled bad. The room items weren’t replaced each day, and I had to ask for slippers after mine tore. They only provide one soap, one shampoo, and one shower gel per person per day, nothing else. I even put perfume on the bedsheets to check whether they were changed daily. There wasn’t even a bottle of water in the room, despite paying €120 a night. You have to buy it from the minibar. The water was only 36-37 degrees, not hot enough for me. The owner acknowledged it, but when the technician came, he literally told me, “this is hot enough for shower,” and nothing was done. I was speechless. My friend was denied Wi-Fi when he arrived. They said I wasn’t in the room without calling, even though I was there waiting for him. We couldn’t call each other because roaming charges on our phones are high. Breakfast was a bunch of cheap processed food. The only fresh thing was orange juice, and I had to beg for it instead of the artificial one. For other requests, the waiter would bring me a plate from the buffet if I asked for a crepe, or tap water even though it isn’t drinkable. I had to beg for a bottle. There were only two guests staying at the hotel for breakfast, but we still waited ten minutes to be served while the waiter served people sitting outside or stopped looking at his phone. No joke. At some point we gave up asking for things because we were on holiday. My friend got sick from the cold. Never again.
