Hotel Republika

The location is wonderful, and it’s also a place where you can rest and relax. I really enjoyed my stay. Deda at the front desk was very kind, and the cleaning lady was too. They both made me feel at home. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a great view, and the bathroom was divine. I’ll definitely come back.

Great location for getting things done in the city, and the daytime staff were friendly. But at 9pm I was given an unclean, very smoky room, and the man working at night seemed to have some anger issues or something. Other rooms were clean and available, as I saw the next day when doors were propped open. I’m not sure why they gave me that room.

The hotel’s rooms bring together a distinctive feeling through Albanian traditional cuisine, waiters’ local outfits, and framed ethnographic clothing from different regions of Albania. Hotel Republika has hosted various personalities, including former first lady Ms. Laura Bush during a visit in 2007. The international jury also awarded Republika first prize for outstanding taste and the unique character it brings to these rooms. It is one of the most prestigious hotels in Tirana, Albania.

The room was messy and the bed wasn’t clean. The bathroom was really dirty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time, and there was a horrible smell in the hall. Dirty, dirty, dirty!
