The restaurant is amazing, but we won’t stay at the hotel again. The room was charming, though the fridge was tiny and barely worked, and there was no microwave. We lost electricity for hours after a breaker tripped, and since they close at 2300 there was nobody to call. The breaker box was at floor level under a table, so you had to lie down to see it. Internet drives the TV, and it kept buffering and dropping, often right during a good part, so watching TV wasn’t worth it. The bed sat on a wooden platform that was too big and too low, so we kept hitting it getting in and out. It might have been better in summer when the pool is open. I’d eat at the restaurant anytime, though.

It felt like being part of a community, not just another hotel stay. The area is lively and not far from the center, and the hospitality has a personal touch. The building and rooms are spacious, with a traditional feel. Dinner was awesome, breakfast was good, and the raki will blow your socks off. The pool area was lovely for relaxing before heading into town, and there are turtles by the water too. If marble floors aren’t your thing and you want an authentic Albanian experience with warm, genuine interactions, this is a great choice.

The staff were the best part, so friendly and welcoming. The woman at the main desk even arranged our taxi to the next place for an incredible price. Breakfast had a great range, and we enjoyed swimming and spending a couple of hours relaxing by the pool. Though the hotel is on a busy street, you’d never know. The only downside was having nowhere to put our clothes, with no hanging space or drawers.

I love the quiet, green setting around this old-style hotel, especially the wildflowers and greenery by the pool. It’s near my home and has become my favorite coffee spot. The restaurant serves flavorful traditional food that feels carefully prepared, and you can eat outside by the pool among the natural surroundings. It’s a cozy place to stay, and my experience was remarkable. I’ve recommended it to foreign friends. Warm hospitality, lovely scenery and local cuisine make it a good choice for a restful getaway.

We loved the atmosphere, which feels intimate and a bit like a castle. Breakfast was good, and the pool does the job. The men’s service was what you’d expect in Albania. The stairs up to the second floor are in a slightly odd spot. It’s a little far from the center, but there’s everything you need nearby, so it really wasn’t a problem.
