Hotel Vila 101

The hotel is centrally located, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. My favorite was the bakery directly underneath, where they had delicious cookies. Everything in my room was new and clean, and both the receptionist and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

Converted from a large traditional house, this is my favorite hotel in Albania. The rooms feel airy and spacious, with very high ceilings, and everything is brand new, clean, and freshly painted. The modern bathroom is spacious too. Its spot in Tirana is ideal, just minutes from Skanderbeg Square and on the bazaar side, right by the market and some of the city’s most authentic bars, cafes, and restaurants. The West side of the square felt less authentic, more upscale, and much more expensive by comparison. I highly recommend the food at Gjelltore SaUku and drinks at Andi Cafe Bar, just a few yards away. Both are very cheap, with warm, authentic service from local people.

The rooms were spacious, bright with natural light, and had a cozy, welcoming feel. VILA 101 is right in central Tirana, close to everything we wanted to see, and it was easy to get around. Parking was convenient too, just a two-minute walk away. The nearby New Bazaar was one of my favorite places, with something tasty whether I wanted a quick snack or a full meal. It’s lively and fun, and added to the stay.

Staying in this historic building, now a hotel in the heart of Tirana, was a great experience. My room was spacious and comfortable, with lovely decor, good furnishings, and a balcony overlooking the city. The hotel is close to the center and the New Bazaar, where you can see some of the city’s great features. I highly recommend staying here.
