Ufo Rooms City Center

I've been looking forward to this trip for a long time. My son, who's a student in the EU, and I came here to meet, and I flew for 17 hours. Now I'm here, and the receptionist was very rude at check-in. The curtain was nearly on the floor, and when I asked him to fix it, he climbed onto the bedside table in his shoes, made only two repairs that didn't help, and didn't clean up afterward. When I asked if that was all, he snapped, “What is the problem?!” I can't recommend this place. I can't cancel because the booking is non-refundable, so thank goodness I'm only here a short time.

The location is ideal, though finding the entrance is confusing: you go through a dental clinic. Our room was tiny, but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine, with plenty of hot water. It got very warm in the room, even with air conditioning.

Good value for the wallet, and the service is great once you find the entrance. The rooms are compact but have what you need. Look down the alley beside Capital Foods to locate the hotel, right in the city center.

At 7pm we were left stranded in Tirana without a place to stay. The hotel had lost our booking, said they were full, and told us to go somewhere else. All we got was “sorry, the receptionist who served you is not answering the phone.” Definitely not recommended.
