Hotel Millennium

The breakfast was incredibly plentiful. It's a very quiet place with modern rooms and a really affordable price. I'd recommend it to everyone.

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The air-conditioning and Wi-Fi both worked well, and the people I dealt with were helpful. I’d come back. Millennium has two buildings, one by the lake and another set a little farther back. We had lunch first, which was tasty and generous, then our guide handled check-in. My room was in the lakeside building on the third floor, with lift and stair access. The pillows were too thick, and there weren’t any alternatives, so I had to improvise because of my neck issue. There was also just one coat hanger, so bring your own if you need to hang clothes. Dinner came with another view of Lake Ohrid and plenty of good food. The fish was tasty, though it had bones. Breakfast was okay, with the usual cheeses, meats, tomatoes and bread, but some fruit would’ve been nice. At least the coffee was better than at my previous hotel. I didn’t see anyone at reception, so I left my key on the desk when checking out.

The restaurant was the highlight for me. It had lovely views of both the sea and the mountains, and there was a broad choice of really delicious food. The Millennium itself was beautiful, and the staff were warm and attentive. I had a top-notch stay and will definitely return. Five stars!

The terrace has a great view. The service, though, left me waiting over 30 minutes before I could order, while other guests, most likely Albanian, were being served and the staff seemed to ignore me. Good company helped pass the time.
