I used to live in Albania a long time ago, though I’ve since moved away, and I’m also from Albania. I stayed at this hotel some years back, and it was such a peaceful place. Waking up at 8 am, having a coffee, and watching the sun rise over the pool was beautiful. The beach wasn’t too far, and I had a lot of fun. My father also worked there as a chef years ago. This hotel will always be one of the best for me. Once I finish school and military training, I’ll come from Greece to spend the summer there. I hope the hotel keeps going, and there’s a guy who’ll soon become one of the best soccer players out there. Love you all.

The breakfast buffet was good, and there was a varied menu in the evening. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff nice and helpful. Best place to stay in Velipoj, highly recommend it 👍

The family who own and run this hotel are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable, even with our baby. The hospitality was amazing, and there are big rooms, a beautiful pool and beach, and a great restaurant, with plenty of shops nearby. The location is perfect, and the country is beautiful. I’ve stayed in lots of places, but this is one of the best hotels I’ve been to. I can’t wait to return!

The hotel was nice, but the people made the stay special. Everyone working here seemed to enjoy their job and went out of their way to help us feel comfortable and at ease. I’ve traveled a lot, and it’s been a long time since I felt this kind of warmth and hospitality. Thanks to everyone at Valz for all the hard work and kindness!

We booked four rooms on the fifth floor. They were a little dated, but clean, with air conditioning and a stunning view. The staff were friendly, spoke English, and nothing seemed too much trouble. My husband was the only one of us who spoke Albanian, so that made communication easy. Breakfast was fresh and nice, and the team even put together an impromptu birthday dinner for one of us with lovely decorations by the pool. My parents were visiting Albania for the first time and loved it. We’re thinking of coming back with more family. Thanks again for everything.
