Apartments Rezidenca Panorama

We spent a full week in this lovely apartment. It was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, and the balcony view was breathtaking. Gjurma beach is close by, and the city beach is about a 10-minute uphill walk. The last 50 meters are very steep, so if you're older or less fit, I'd recommend having or renting a car. If you're fit, walking up shouldn't be a problem. Danielle and Jimi were warm and welcoming hosts. They even arranged our rides to and from the bus station and shared lots of tips on places to visit.

The apartment is beautiful and clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It's up in the hills, so you'll need a car, but the view makes it worthwhile. Danielle was a super responsive and helpful host who made the whole trip feel easy. Thanks for making my trip great!

BEWARE! The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, with two bedrooms and one bathroom, but there are several things to know before renting. The listing said 900 square feet, though it looked smaller. Air conditioning was only in the living room, so we had to sleep with the bedroom doors open. We were on the first floor, and the view wasn't spectacular because many trees blocked it. The terrace also faced the neighbors' terraces, so we shared the space with them. Getting there was much harder than expected. It's way up a hill, at least a 20-30 minute walk on a very steep road that felt scary even by car. The building wasn't finished, with construction in the garage and unfinished roads. There were no shops or coffee shops at the top for morning coffee or pantry items. We tried to switch to another apartment the next day, since they also have one on the boulevard, but they refused. The photos looked amazing, with great views and very modern decor. We were supposed to pay first at an office near the sea boulevard, and the owner wouldn't let us see the apartment beforehand. I knew from the view it must be high on a hill, so I wanted to check first, but since it was late, we paid and took the risk. The owner doesn't highlight all of this, I suppose, so BEWARE before renting.

The only good parts were the view and parking near the office. The rest was one of our worst stays ever. The apartment was dirty, the washing machine was too filthy to use, and the soap dispenser was empty. The cleaning supplies were disgusting, the bathroom smelled awful when it was warm, and the boiler made loud noises whenever anyone in the building used water. The tap water also seemed toxic to us because whenever we cooked with it, we ended up with stomach problems. Jimmy persuaded us to cancel our official reservation, saying it was fine. That felt extremely suspicious and unprofessional, even though it had no further consequences for us. Those positives don't make up for the health risks, dishonesty, and lack of standards. Avoid this place at all costs.
