Hotel Liro

We loved that the hotel was adults only, and during our stay there was really no reason to leave the property. The pool and sunbathing area looked lovely, with enough sunbeds even though the hotel was full. The patios at the bar and restaurant were gorgeous places to sit at sunset, and the common areas were beautiful. Our sea-facing room was clean, roomy, and comfortable, though the bathroom felt a little dated. At night we left the balcony door open and listened to the waves against the cliffs. The views were breathtaking and surreal. Ergi, the manager, was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to our requests. Albi made lovely cocktails, and Daniel, Jonny, and Jimmy were all friendly, knew the menus well, and paid attention to what we needed. The food was very good, though a few more Albanian dishes would have made it even better. With water that clear, it would also be great if snorkeling gear were available to rent. My friend and I stayed two nights in late September, and it was a beautiful experience. I highly recommend it.

Everything felt peaceful and well cared for, and the room was spotless. The staff were genuinely kind, too. I’d be happy to stay here again.

The building feels magical and full of history, and the view is amazing. The people working there are so friendly, especially daniel and albi. They’re always smiling and easy to talk to. We had a cosmopoliton and a rose cocktail shot, both really good, and the cocktails here in vlorë are the best. I’d definitely recommend going for an unforgettable experience. 🥂😍

The room was the worst part of our stay, and for what we paid the promised quality just wasn’t there. The shower drain barely worked, so water came up to our shins, and the room was very dirty. There was a used toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom, which we luckily spotted in time. The hairdryer couldn’t be used, the fridge didn’t work, and there were no blankets for the night. The room needs a renovation and a deep clean. Music played loudly until midnight, so we couldn’t sleep before then. When we complained, nobody responded with an apology or a fix. Staff also kept flirting with my hot friend 😂. She didn’t mind, but we both thought it was very unprofessional. The setting is beautiful, with a great view, pool area, and small beach. Breakfast was another highlight and was very well done. Still, the room conditions and management were terrible, and it wasn’t worth the money.
