The beach is just across the road, with sunbeds and a nice beach bar. We had a wonderful two-night stay here. Our room was huge, one of the biggest standard rooms we’ve stayed in, and it was very clean. Housekeeping kept it in great shape each day, and the balcony had lovely sea views. The reception staff member was especially helpful on WhatsApp, answering questions even before our flight to Albania. She arranged several taxis to attractions at better prices than local apps or street hailing, which saved us money. We accidentally left medicine and personal items behind after checkout, and they kept everything safe for us. Breakfast had a good selection. Even when we came down at the last minute, the staff welcomed us, offered fresh omelettes, and didn’t rush us. They were also very polite and playful with our baby.

The restaurant staff were the one part I wish had matched the front desk and housekeeping, who were top notch. I loved my corner room, with its wraparound balcony, spotless design, and a bed that gave me some of the best sleep I’ve had in a hotel. The shower was great too. There’s no washcloth, just hand and regular towels, so Americans may want to bring one. The smart TV let me sign into my Disney + account and catch up on shows. With the new Melia property coming, I’m not sure I’ll stay here next time since I’m a Melia loyalty member, but I’d still recommend this place to anyone visiting Vlorë.
The sea views were magnificent, and the rooms were very comfortable. Being right across from the beach was a real plus, though we were there outside the main season and the hotel’s beach services weren’t operating. The supermarket next door was handy, and I especially liked the fresh orange juice and barista-style coffee at breakfast. A few things could be improved. More halal choices at breakfast would have been welcome, and 8 am feels a bit late for breakfast to start. The €4.50 room service delivery fee should be explained ahead of time. It also seems unfair to charge the same surcharge when guests take a dish away from the hotel restaurant instead of ordering room service, as it can feel like guests are being penalised for staying on-site. For this hotel, a proper coffee machine would suit better than cheap 3-in-1 sachets. The old town is quite a walk away, though that’s not a major issue since most visitors will probably only go once.
Warm, attentive service made our stay at Yacht Hotel feel special. The setting is beautiful, with breathtaking views, and the restaurant serves refined, delicious food, especially if you like high-quality seafood. Each meal felt like a treat. There’s a promenade right outside, running along the sea toward the Old Town. It’s a long walk, but worth it. If you’d rather not walk, you can take a taxi or catch the bus that stops outside the hotel. We’d highly recommend Yacht Hotel to anyone after a memorable, high-quality stay in Vlore.
The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food in a romantic setting. It’s a little pricey, but the quality and convenience made it worthwhile, and the restaurant staff were great. We loved the view from our room, and breakfast was easily the best we’ve had on this trip. There was plenty of choice, including eggs cooked fresh just how you wanted them. The service was friendly and helpful, even in the off season. Parking is right outside, and across the road the beach bar has comfy loungers where you can watch beautiful sunsets. Road noise was about what you’d expect beside a main road in a city, and not as bad as some people say, unless you’re expecting a quiet countryside hotel. One of my favourite stays in Albania. I’ll choose this hotel again when I’m in Vlore and visit the restaurant too.
