Getting laundry done was easy, with a washing machine and dryer available, which was handy after traveling for a long time. The apartment was quiet at night and the bed and pillows were comfortable, so I slept really well. We were just a five-minute walk from the city center and the beach, with plenty of local cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, including a kettle and all the necessary utensils.

Prices were shown in euros, like elsewhere in Albania, but paying in local currency meant they charged us an exchange rate 6 percent higher. That felt unfair. I'd suggest carrying euros in cash and paying in euros.
