Khoreayi Dzor

The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, with a great view. I stayed for one night, and everything was good apart from the restaurant. We ordered four different dishes and drinks for dinner, then waited more than an hour before the waiter told us the food wasn’t available. By the time we’d waited an hour and 20 minutes, they’d forgotten the order completely. We never got any of the dishes or drinks, so we left without eating.

We had a wonderful time as a family. The grounds were stunning, the rooms were clean with beautiful views, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and every staff member was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Thanks for the memories, we’ll carry them with us for years.

The view was breathtaking, and the rooms and bathrooms were really nice. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, and evening drinks were lovely to enjoy with the view. I’ve stayed here twice now and hope to come back for a third visit!

The location and beautiful view were the only good parts of our stay at Hotel Khoreayi Dzor. The service and management’s rude attitude ruined the experience. I’ve stayed at hotels around the world and have never been treated this way. I can’t recommend the hotel unless there are major improvements to staff training and customer service. At check-in, we were given the wrong room. Once inside, there was no phone, service button, or other way to contact reception. I went downstairs to ask for extra pillows and water, and staff eventually put me in touch with the manager, Sophia. Rather than help, she asked, “Why did you finish your water already?” It felt as though guests were only allowed a set amount of drinking water. She refused the extra pillows, then, after a long argument, reluctantly said she’d send them along with water. I even offered to pay for the water, which shouldn’t have been necessary. Neither the water nor the pillows arrived. The next day, Sophia gave a different reason, saying they couldn’t access the storage. She apologized for not providing more water and said they couldn’t get into the storage room at the time. I also want to add what happened after our tourist agency reported the problems. The hotel gave the agency a completely different account, saying the mix-up was because another guest with my name was staying there that day. That simply isn’t true. I was the only Arab guest there at the time, and the hotel has only a limited number of rooms, so that kind of mix-up seems highly unlikely. When I spoke directly with Sophia the next day, she never mentioned mistaken identity. She apologized and said they couldn’t access the storage room, and regretted not giving us more water. It’s disappointing that after the agency got in touch, the hotel came up with a different story instead of taking full responsibility for the poor service.
