Popock Goris Guest House

The atmosphere at Popock was peaceful, and the location felt central while still being quiet, close to key attractions. The hotel was spotless, with clean rooms and well-kept common areas. Staff were warm, polite and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The food was incredible, fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented, with plenty of choices. You can tell the chefs care about every meal. Every part of my stay went beyond what I expected. I'd absolutely return and recommend Popock to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free stay.

The restaurant view is amazing, with the mountains, the Zanger area and Old Goris all in sight. I stayed in late September, and the scenery changed from clear and breathtaking one day to misty and magical the next, just like my attached photos. It's a comfortable hotel with very clean rooms and warm, welcoming staff. The cozy interior has beautiful plants, though moving the wardrobe would make it easier to use. The food is incredible and reasonably priced. Try the hotel's signature Popock salad. I'll return with my family and recommend it to my friends.

The view is a lovely extra, and the rooms are cozy with especially comfortable beds and luxurious linen. The staff were always polite, and the homemade food was really tasty.

The hosts were the best part of my stay at Popock. They helped with every question and request, and even let me use their air conditioner and fridge when I needed them. The rooms don't have those yet as the hotel is new and still adding amenities, but Goris evenings were cool enough for me to sleep with the windows open. There's limited storage space, so pack lightly. The property is fresh and clean, with a lovely garden, an outdoor fireplace and stunning mountain views. My room had thoughtful basics like toothpicks, toothpaste, clean towels, a teapot, tea, coffee, sugar and water. The restaurant is tasty and very reasonably priced, and you can book a room with food included. Goris is a quiet place to stay, and you can rest here while travelling to nearby cities and interesting places. My stay was fantastic, and I'd happily come back. As of July 7, 2024, rooms don't have air conditioners or fridges, though the hosts are happy to help with needs.
