Best Western Bohemian Resort

On our 25-day trip, these were the worst rooms we had, and they weren’t worth the price. This didn’t feel worthy of the Best Western brand. The only things I liked were the view beside the sea and the swimming pool. We arrived late and didn’t use the service. The room had the kind of furniture you’d find in a motel or roadside hotel. There was no kettle, air conditioner, or heater. Breakfast was average, and the female employees didn’t seem welcoming. When I asked what meat the sausage was made from, I didn’t get a helpful impression. Best Western’s swamp market should check its standards.

We stayed about four hours before deciding to leave. The room was cold even though it was over 20 Celsius outside, and there were a lot of gnats in the shaded areas, including around our house. The internet was weak, about 5 Mbps at the house, though we got around 20 Mbps in the restaurant. The food was edible, just not as good as we expected. In early October the surrounding area was all scorched desert, with a poor village and a sense of devastation. The exact season probably affects how the location feels. The pictures make the place look much better than it is. If you’re used to a luxurious vacation, this isn’t for you. I was completely disappointed.

This hotel is far too old and offers the bare minimum. I can’t see how it stays in business. It was the worst hotel of our two-month trip through nine countries.

The place was kept clean, and Rubik, the bell boy, was the one person who was actually friendly. I’m Armenian, so I know what life there is like, but I’ve lived in the USA for the past 23 years. Armenia, if you want tourists to come back, learn how to give better service. The service sucks. The receptionist had an attitude, and when we asked someone a question, they looked at us like, “What the hell do you want?” If you charge American prices, like $150 a night, you should give people service like they get in America. We had to ask for towels and blankets because nothing was in the room. After we ordered food, nobody came to clear it. Our room wasn’t cleaned during the two nights we stayed. We asked for glasses and were told, “Tomorrow?” Really? The wifi sucks too. I told reception it wasn’t working, and she said to walk around and find it. The waiters were absolutely horrible. Raise your standards. I’m very disappointed and would never come back, even if you paid me.
