The guesthouse had a calm, welcoming feel, and its location was very convenient, especially if you need to visit the U.S. Embassy. Lyuba, the manager, was warm and caring. I did run into a couple of problems: there was no reception desk by the front entrance, which could be tricky with the limited English-speaking staff, and the bathroom drain gave off a sewage smell.

I’ve stayed here three times and plan to return. Rooms are clean, and there’s a kitchen and laundry available. Mrs. Lyuba is lovely, and the price is great. Nearby you’ve got Kilikia central bus station, Shaurma 555, a currency exchange with a good rate on the way to the station subway, and Team Telecom for buying a SIM card. The marshrutka driver stays at the hotel, so you can arrange an evening transfer for the next morning to Tbilisi, Vanadzor, and other places. 27.12.2025

Getting around was easy from here: the bus station and airport bus stop nearby, and both the center and airport are accessible. There are shops around too, plus a great food court with a bar as well as food. Inside, the room has a bed, table, and chair. Wi-Fi worked reliably, and there’s a shared kitchen, toilet, shower, and a refrigerator. A good spot for a few nights.

For what it costs, this is a great place to stay overnight. The location near the center is handy, with shops and a good food court close by. The rooms were very clean and had all the amenities, and the hostess was really kind.
