The hostel is modern, warm, and good value. It’s right in central Sevan, close to the main street, supermarkets, and restaurants.

An hour before I was due to arrive, my single room was canceled. That left me distressed and trying to find another host at the last minute. I didn’t even receive a message from the host explaining the cancellation or apologizing.

I had a whole room to myself, and it was nice and clean. I just wish there were blackout curtains, since sunrise is at 5am in summer. The owner was really friendly and helpful. The place is near one of the main streets in Sevan, where I found one of the best kabab restaurants I’d eaten at in Armenia. There’s a washing machine, cooker, and fridge, so it’s a handy place to base yourself while visiting nearby cities.

The manager was so kind, and the way they treat people really reminded us what humanity means. Such a lovely place.
