14th Floor mini hotel

The bed was only 140 cm wide, which was a bit of a letdown. The rooms were quiet and spacious, with a nice view, and there’s parking on site. Breakfast on the 15th-floor roof was tasty, and the hotel is right in the city center.

The breakfast was basic, mostly the same each day, and not very vegetarian friendly. It had bread, salad, fruit, cheese, yogurt, cereals and similar things. The reception staff kindly arranged a packed breakfast for the morning I had to leave early, and they were always pleasant and helpful, especially Rubina. I stayed five nights in June. The room had a balcony and was reasonably big, though not large. Basic but clean, and about a five-minute walk from Republic Square. A nice place with nice people. I love Armenia and its simple, beautiful people. :)

The hotel was easy to find and had the basics I needed. They provide complimentary bottled water only at check-in, but guests can use a water dispenser. Toiletries, including dental kits, are supplied. The Wi-Fi was okay, though I had some connection trouble at night, perhaps when more guests were online. I stayed a couple of days and had a pleasant visit. It’s good value for money, and I’d stay again.

We were lucky to get a room with a view of Ararat. The staff are very friendly, and breakfast includes traditional dried fruits and cold dishes made with what seemed like the best natural products. The location is fabulous, right in the city center, about a five-minute walk to the opera, Cascade or Republic Square.
