Sunset Apart-hotel

Finding the place took a little effort, but the receptionist sent me a video showing the signs, which made it much easier. We booked that same day for one night, and the welcome was so friendly. The room had a great balcony view, fresh sheets and towels, and a very clean bathroom. It was comfortable and lovely overall. There’s construction nearby, so daytime noise can be an issue. I’d happily stay again in Yerevan.

The staff were kind and helpful: when breakfast couldn’t be served because they needed to turn off the electricity for 12 hours, they refunded us and arranged a free taxi to the airport. The room was very clean and everything looked shiny and new, with a perfect view, though construction nearby was noisy. The hotel is on the 16th floor of a new tower that isn’t open yet, so being in an otherwise empty building felt a bit weird. The location is good and breakfast sounded nice, but the price was high compared with a similar hotel nearby.

Getting around from here was difficult for me. It was hard to find, and with the language barrier, arranging a taxi or ride app became a nightmare. Since this was my first visit to Yerevan, I can’t say much about the city layout, but I’d rather pay more for somewhere easier to reach. Keep in mind this is an apartment complex, not a hotel, so calling it one feels like false advertising. And it definitely isn’t four-star.

The room itself was nice, but the AC never got fixed during our five-day stay. They said it would take a few days, and it was around 50 degrees in the room.
