I liked this quiet, family-run hotel. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

It's wonderfully peaceful here, with simple rooms that are being renovated regularly and no renovation noise. There are lots of nearby mountain trails for long walks, and the setting is great for enjoying nature. The food is good, though the menu is fixed. They do have special dishes for vegans. There's also a pier where you can hire a boat ride on the lake. Getting to Bariloche takes some planning: the number 10 bus runs three times a day, or you can hire a car service, which costs much more. To take the bus, you'll need to get a SUBE card in downtown Bariloche.

It's quiet and peaceful at the end of the road, with fantastic views from the entrance and condors soaring near the cliffs. Dinner was a buffet of cold salad and vegetables, with one main course option. They made a custom vegan main with vegetables, which was good and healthy, but the plain rice tasted like instant rice. Breakfast was typical: media Lunas (cresant), some cold cereal, fresh whole fruit, and canned fruit cocktail. There was no plant-based milk or whole oats.

We loved looking out at the beautiful view from our room. It's a charming, quaint hotel with an old-fashioned feel. I'd recommend it if you don't need the latest modern amenities.

Right by the beach, peaceful, and close to trekking. Having a car is helpful.
