The cabin is nice and well located, but some things really bothered me, so I wanted to share them. The rooms and bathrooms are VERY dark. I couldn't see what was inside my suitcase or put in my contact lens in the morning. At this time of year, the sun rose around 8:30 and set around 6, and we were skiing on the mountain during those daylight hours, so natural light wasn't much help when we needed to get ready in the morning or evening. The shower heating was also very limited. We were four people in the middle of winter, with two bathrooms, but after each person showered, everyone else had to wait for the boiler to refill before bathing. It meant we couldn't shower whenever we wanted without coordinating, and got in the way of our plans since we all left and returned around the same time. The kitchen could use more dishes too. There was only one frying pan, so mornings became a scramble, and there weren't any wine glasses. I thought the cost was high for what the cabin offers. The year before, I stayed in a much more complete cabin for less, but unfortunately it wasn't available this year. I'm being specific because I would've liked to know this before choosing the place, though these things may not bother everyone. Otherwise, the cabin is pretty quiet.

The cabin has nice amenities and good heating, and it's around 500 meters from the ski lifts. A good spot to relax and enjoy a few days on the slopes 🎿.

The location is hard to beat, just 200 or 300 meters from the entrance to Cerro Catedral Ski Resort. With enough snow, you can practically ski in and out. Luis, the property manager, is another highlight: incredibly friendly and able to help with anything, backed up by Georgina and Liliana. There's a very cute dog too. The four private cabins are charming and basically perfect for a family, couple, or friends in winter or any season. They have fireplaces, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds and blankets, excellent central heating that even warms the floors, good Wi-Fi, and small but fully equipped kitchens. Downstairs there’s a half bath, kitchen, fireplace, TV, and two dining and seating areas. Upstairs are two bedrooms with five beds and two full bathrooms, including one with a jacuzzi tub. Double doors at the entrance keep out the cold, and there’s an alarm system. In short, you won’t find a more charming place.

We stayed in the six-person room, just a few meters from the base of Cerro Catedral by the Amancay gondola. It was comfortable, clean, and new, with excellent value for money. The radiant floor heating kept it very warm. There's a small market nearby that offers delivery. The Wi-Fi could be better, but everything else was impeccable. I'd definitely return.

The location was good, and the daily housekeeping service was very good. But the room was cold, with icy drafts coming through the windows, poor lighting, and very limited hot water. You have to wait for the boiler to refill before taking a shower. I also tore a T-shirt on an exposed nail sticking out of the bunk bed, and it could have hurt me.
