Cabañas Las Marias Del Nahuel

The cabins were beautiful, but cabin number 2 had an unbearable sewage smell when I stayed there in January. They tried to fix it by putting in an air freshener. At $200,000 a night, I’d never go back.

We went in February and had a wonderful stay. The cabin’s layout keeps the lake in view from the kitchen and dining area, and the bedrooms have good windows to enjoy the scenery too. The bedrooms are a little small but adequate. We also appreciated direct lake access, the lovely nearby beach, and being able to explore on foot and reach cafes and restaurants easily. Some kitchen utensils could use an update, but otherwise it was a very pleasant visit. Highly recommended, and we hope to return soon.

The owners were very attentive, and there’s a shared barbecue area plus a path down to the lake. The cabins are beautiful, have all the amenities, and offer a spectacular lake view. It’s about 8 kilometers from the center, so you’ll need transport, though the bus stop right outside is convenient. My one small wish was to have some salt and oil in the cabin so I wouldn’t have to buy them.
