Hotel Carlos V Patagonia

The building and rooms are nice, but the stay was complete bullshit. Wi-Fi didn't work, and they leave a light on at night that kept us from sleeping. They say breakfast is included and starts at 8am, but they don't even begin making it until 8:30. Then it's just bread, with too little butter or jam. If you expect to be treated like a customer, don't stay here.

For a budget place, it was a good option. The room stayed fairly quiet despite facing a busy street, and the bed was a good size and comfortable. Hot water and water pressure were both good, the staff were friendly, and restaurants and shops are very close. The dated room could use more outlets, especially by the bed. Wi-Fi was painfully slow, on another level even for Bariloche, and breakfast wasn't great.

The room was tiny, and the toilet was so close to the sink that it was very uncomfortable. There wasn't enough space to keep our suitcase open. On top of that, the cleaner stole more than 20,000 peso (60$) from us. We messaged the hotel, but they didn't even respond. Not recommended.

The continental breakfast was good quality, and the bathrooms were basic but clean. It's centrally located, and being a small hotel makes the service feel more personal.
