Crans Montana Hotel

The location is prime, and breakfast was actually great, with lots of fruit and different cakes. The restaurant staff were friendly and quick to help. Still, I would avoid this place. On the weekend, the loud, drunk party crowd means you don't get much rest, and the hotel doesn't seem to care about the noise. I asked reception to help me find a place to pray. They were willing to look when they thought I was Christian, but their attitude changed after they learned I was Jewish. Then I was told they had “no place for that” and that the manager didn't want to help. The antisemitism felt horrible.

I'd never stay here again. The room looked nothing like the photos, and both it and the bathroom were tiny. The reception staff didn't speak English. A hair dryer and towel were missing; I asked for them with pictures to make sure I was understood, but three hours later they still hadn't arrived. When I called, I got, “I not speak English. Wait a minute,” and then they hung up on me. Twice.

The hotel is old and in medium shape, but the guys there were nice and helped make the stay pleasant. Breakfast was good.

Great location, but the rooms felt old and there was no Wi-Fi for my entire stay.
