The lake view is beautiful, and the sitting room, bar, and breakfast area are all very nice. Still, the property feels like it's coming apart a bit. The carpets are ragged and the rooms outdated, and the pool is indoors only. Breakfast had a decent spread but was bland and uninteresting. Three stars feels about right to me.

The place itself is lovely, but that was about the only plus. The night staff were the exception, since the rest weren't friendly. There was no Internet, and reception didn't bother to tell us. The room lights didn't work; they did eventually fix them, but reception still seemed not to care. The promised lake view was misleading, you could barely see the lake. We couldn't control the heating, the beds weren't good, and the stay was very disappointing.

Wi-Fi is available, but only in the lobby. I looked at three rooms, all of them nice, though two smelled of cigarette smoke. The staff kindly offered me a room without the odor. The views are beautiful, and the breakfast buffet and swimming pool were nice too.

Internet was terrible, when there was any, and the breakfast buffet was limited. Still, it was good value overall. The location is good, the room was large, and the mattress was good. Best of all, the rooms, lounge area, and restaurant all look out over the lake.

I've never had a worse hotel experience. The service from the people attending to you is terrible.
