Playa Bonita is nearby, which is a real plus, and there are a couple of good bars and restaurants in the area. The service was good, and the staff were friendly and responsive. But the apartments are old, the wifi is slow and cuts out at random, and road noise kept waking me up throughout the night. Apart from the beach and nearby spots, it's quite far from the action and everyday conveniences. For the high price, I don't feel it was worth it.

These are cool apartments, run by a family. The backyard is a nice place to hang out and barbecue, and there's a laundry and Bodega next door. Breweries and restaurants are within walking distance. The only downside is that the walls are thin.

La ponderosa is a great place to stay between the city and Cerro Catedral. Rodolfo and Amparo are wonderful hosts. The place is clean and well equipped.

We spent the afternoon out on the lovely patio, and the free-use grills even had firewood ready. The owners were great, and the apartments are very nice and well equipped. One small suggestion: in the apartments for six, an extra bathroom upstairs would be useful when someone is showering.
