A clean, convenient place for a getaway in a lovely location. The rooms could use some maintenance, though, and the WiFi is truly bad, so working remotely isn’t an option.

The staff were exceptional, with plenty of suggestions and help during our stay. We used local transport and didn’t rent a car. For a taxi, ask for a remis, as they seem cheaper. You need a card for the local buses, but if you don’t have one, people will swipe theirs and you can pay them. It’s an older but very nice property. The steps and rocky paths would make getting around difficult for someone with a disability.

The rooms are dated and dark, though spacious, and the lake views are decent. The hotel is outside Bariloche, so I’d definitely suggest having a car. The main staff member was very friendly and helpful, but the pool staff seemed bothered that I was there. Internet is painfully slow, nearly useless, and the network blocks Netflix.

A really nice, fully equipped apartment on the way to the mountains, outside Bariloche. It has a kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom, and is very well heated. There was a tennis court and other facilities at the hotel. You can pay for breakfast or make your own in the apartment. Getting a taxi downtown is easy, just ask at the front desk; it costs about 75 to 90 pesos. Enjoyed this nice stay in Bariloche!
