I felt out of place here as an international traveler. Staff made remarks suggesting English shouldn't be spoken, and I ran into several unnecessary confrontations because I don't speak Spanish. One time, over a minor issue in an otherwise empty dorm, staff came into the room in an aggressive way. If you aren't fluent in Spanish, I'd strongly suggest staying somewhere else. This was the first place in Argentina where I felt uncomfortable.

The staff were kind and flexible, and I'd consider coming back, though I've stayed at better places. The sheets were clean, but the rooms and bathrooms could use more cleaning. Breakfast was just coffee and a little bread with dulce de leche, and it got a bit noisy at night.

I needed somewhere to leave my bag when I first got to the city, even though I hadn't booked a room. The man at reception was really nice and let me keep it at the hostel for a couple of hours without charging me.

The location is the standout, just a 3-minute walk from the city center and the main street, mitre. It's a cozy, nice hostel with dorms at 300 peso per night, though breakfast isn't available now. The dorms are quite small and have just two electrical outlets.

The breakfast was the weak point for me. I've had much better at hostels that cost less. Still, this is one of the best hostels I've stayed in in argentina, with great staff, comfortable beds, and rooms that are big enough.
