There are only a few things in the kitchen, and the beds wobble and have no curtains. Noise from the street can make it hard to sleep. Also, every shower leaves the floor wet for ages, and there’s no proper air system.

The young staff bring a lovely energy to this hostel. They even bake cakes and other treats the night before, so there’s something good waiting at breakfast. Lovely place, and I’d definitely recommend it.
The pizza was huge and really tasty, and the price-to-value ratio is hard to beat anywhere in Bariloche. We found the place friendly and affordable. After our overnight flight, we arrived around 7 in the morning and could leave our bags until check-in and have breakfast with coffee. That was a lifesaver. We had a double room with its own bathroom, but the shower pressure was below average and water flooded the whole room. The shared bathroom shower was fine, so save yourself the trouble and use that one.
The breakfast was a nice start to the day. They baked something sweet each evening, and we had orange cheesecake, chocolate cake, and homemade bread. The rooms were basic, but the hostel is in central Bariloche, about five minutes from the main street and bars.
I usually choose hotels, but decided to try Temiscira hostel and had an amazing five days. The staff were friendly and ready to help with anything, always with a big smile. The facilities worked well for resting, working, and enjoying the holiday. I’d love to book with them again.
