We stayed a few nights in March with our little baby, and ended up spending the rest of the stay in our tent in the garden. We’d been fighting bedbugs all night, and by morning I was covered in bites and had to get cream for the itching at the pharmacy. When I told the owner, Marcus, he didn’t care at all. He already knew about the problem and still let a two year old sleep in a bed full of bedbugs. He offered no compensation. Then he wanted to charge us the same amount for sleeping in the tent as for the private room. Stay away from this hostel, there are much better places in Barreal!

The park and pool make it a lovely place to relax. The owner, María Eugenia, is incredibly attentive and makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended.

We spent our honeymoon in Barreal, and Marcos was a fantastic host. The place was beautiful, clean, and spacious. We hope to come back someday! 🫂♥️

A peaceful spot with a huge patio, a summer pool, and a fully equipped barbecue area, ideal for relaxing. The kitchen is complete and really well equipped too. It's a big house, but the rooms feel homey, and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Thanks to Eugenia for all the attentive service. We’ll be back!

We spent five days here as a group and loved it. There’s so much to enjoy, from the pool and big garden to the loungers and tables under the trees. Even an ice cream shop is only 100 meters away! The staff, Marco, Ana Paula, and Eugenia, were incredibly kind and did everything they could to make us comfortable. A little slice of paradise for anyone who loves peaceful, natural places. Thanks again to them (:
