America del Sur Hostel Buenos Aires

I loved the vibe here and would go back in a heartbeat. The staff were amazing and so helpful, and they really know how to look after guests. The showers were great and the beds really comfortable. Even writing this makes me want to return.

I spent 14 days here as a solo budget traveler, in a spacious room with a private bathroom and plenty of storage. The air conditioning and heating worked well, and the walk-in shower had excellent pressure and lots of hot water. It was quiet at night, so I slept well. WiFi reception was excellent too. Breakfast is available every day as an optional buffet for a small charge. Reception, kitchen, and housekeeping staff were friendly and professional, and some spoke English. I’d definitely stay here again in Buenos Aires. The hostel is in a great San Telmo location, within walking distance of many of Buenos Aires’ attractions. Nearby there are lots of cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, fruit vendors, and laundry facilities.

San telmo has plenty of milongas, tango, and music at night, plus lots of supermarkets. Around the hostel there wasn’t noise, the rooms were clean, the beds supportive, and the air conditioners worked day and night with both hot and cold settings. Reception was easy to ask for help, and the staff spoke English very well. Nearby, you can top up a claro simcard, exchange money, and recharge a sube card. The best part of this hostel is its staff. Ale showed me the different spaces when I first arrived. Roman is interesting, intelligent, funny, knows everything about these blocks, and gave me lots of useful information. Andrew looked out for guests, solved problems, and took responsibility for the hostel. gaston was full of human warmth and lively. Matheo is very nice, cute, and young, a good young person, and I hope he visits Asia someday. Manu is good at talking with people. And thanks to all the female staff who clean every day. You’re the best. I have really good memories of the same hostel in El calafate, and here too. You are real, vivid people with your own stories, and I have mine. I’m lucky we shared our stories for two months of our lives. I hope we’ll look back and feel it was a good experience. My review is somehow very hard to post.（saludo del yao ）

The staff were helpful, but the rooms were extremely noisy because they faced the street and the windows didn’t close properly. The price was too high: I paid 150 Dollars on a holiday and 70 USD during the week, and both felt overpriced.
