Babel Studios

The room and kitchenette are just the right size for one person or a couple, and the bed was really comfortable. It had a kettle, and the whole place felt like a modern European rental. I loved it, had a great stay!

It's a rustic flat, and far from the cleanest I've seen. The kitchen is missing things, even some of the items listed on the wall, though there's enough to make a quick meal. It falls somewhere between a regular hotel and an Airbnb. I'd suggest considering one of those instead, I don't recommend this place.

The team at Babel Studios, México 614, were attentive to every detail, and their hospitality and professionalism made a big difference. They helped us get around and settle into the city, went far beyond what we expected, and even spoke our language. The reception staff were always present during working hours and ready to solve any problem in person. We felt safe there, with a front door and an additional security code, and had no worries leaving valuables in the room while we went out for a long time. Our room was very clean, with polished concrete floors that looked stylish and worked especially well in the spotless bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and both air conditioning and internet worked perfectly. At night the Wi-Fi sometimes topped 180 mbs, and during the day I had no trouble joining online conferences with screen sharing and video. We liked our stay so much that we asked the Babel administration to extend it. Those previous negative reviews seem quite irrelevant now, considering the work that has been done here. We'll definitely visit Babel Studios again.

We left as soon as we saw the room. It was filthy, with grease across the walls and brown marks in the bedroom, and looked nothing like the photos. There was never anyone at reception. You get the room key using a code, and if something goes wrong, nobody is there to help. I wouldn't trust this place.
