Báltico Suites

I lost 1200 USD. I asked to cancel right after booking, once I’d read the 1-star reviews, but they refused and charged me anyway. Maybe I’ll try a chargeback.

The people in apt B had the same problems, so it seems like these things happen to everyone and nothing gets fixed. My electric kettle was full of tiny bugs, and the fridge had a huge amount of ice. They wouldn’t clean it and blamed me. The shower head and handle both fell off when I was showering. When I asked them to fix it, they blamed me for that too. I asked for a refund and was told no, with the claim that it had been causing trouble from the beginning. Poor service and arrogant people. Pésimo, the worst ever. Avoid it at all costs.

Money was deducted even though I’d paid in full for the night, but the property kept insisting the payment had been declined. I sent several screenshots through booking and asked for their WhatsApp number so I could send the payslips, but they ignored me. They don’t speak English at all, and ignored messages sent with a translator too. SCAMMERS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Save your time and money.

We booked this because it was close to the hospital, but left early. After spending the day with a hospitalized relative, it was too unpleasant to come back to a place like this. The manager was friendly, though the apartment looked nothing like the photos. It was dark and bare, with stained sheets, a greasy kitchen, worn-out furniture, and curtains coming apart. The towels and hairdryer were fine. For the price, the condition should have been much better. I don’t know whether the apartments shown online are actually in the building.
