BT Homes - Quartier Retiro

We had a fully prepaid reservation before our cruise, but a few days before sailing the hotel group told us they couldn’t host us because of “technical difficulties.” We tried calling to find out what was going on and couldn’t reach them. We booked through Expedia, so asked them to contact the hotel, but even Expedia couldn’t get an answer. Despicable business behavior. Do not do business with these guys. Addition: The hotel's response claims the situation was resolved, and that’s blatantly false. They’re trying to make it look like they cared, but only did so after my negative note here. I repeat, do not do business with these guys!

A great option near the cruise terminal, with modern, comfortable rooms and facilities. There’s a restaurant right next door that it’s linked to.

Locals told us the area isn’t the best for walking around at night because it’s close to some sketchy neighborhoods. Still, we had a good experience overall. The rooms were great and the service was good. We’ll stay longer next time.

The pools were a highlight: the indoor one was peaceful, and the outdoor one was lovely for a swim or a float in the afternoon sun. Breakfast was another great part of the stay, with plenty to choose from, including fruit, pastries, hot dishes, and excellent coffee. Our rooms were enormous, spotless, and beautifully appointed, with breathtaking views and lots of space to relax. The soft bathrobes and slippers were a lovely extra after a swim or when lounging around. The amenities were fantastic and thoughtfully designed for a comfortable, luxurious stay. Everyone was kind and attentive, especially Eugenia, whose genuine care and attention to little details made us feel welcome and valued. Facundo also helped everything run smoothly, and his professionalism and warmth stood out. It was an unforgettable stay, and we can’t wait to return.
