Hotel Chipre

The rooms were clean, and my husband especially liked the mattress. The shared bathrooms were fine, though the toilets were oriented strangely. There’s no kitchen, and the WiFi was spotty now and then. We had a pleasant stay.

A good value, with an excellent location. The room had a nice bathroom, AC, and a ceiling fan. Blackout shades would be my only suggestion.

After we went for a walk, we came back to find cockroaches in the bed and bathroom sink. The room they gave us was disgusting. The WiFi never worked properly either. Before paying, we were told there was internet on every floor, and there was a signal, but it kept showing as weak and our phones wouldn’t connect. It cost 60,000 pesos, and they charge more if you pay by bank transfer or card than in cash. It wasn’t worth it. For half that amount I could have stayed two days somewhere else without the amenities, and at least not paid double while still having no working WiFi. I got fed up calling the hotel number. The person in charge brought cockroach spray, but it didn’t even work, and after that they never answered when I called again.

The bathrooms were quite clean, and they were always attentive to cleanliness. The staff were respectful and the service was great. I also liked the convenient 24-hour checkout time. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely return. Highly recommended.
