The location is right in the center of the most fashionable area, and the rooftop is lovely for city views and sun. There’s a big, comfortable lounge with sofas, coffee tables, and a pool bar, plus free tea and coffee at reception all day. Most staff are friendly and kind. The shower is great, with hot water and good pressure. It’s very clean and cozy, and although some people said it was dirty, it seems to have improved. It suits short stays and people who enjoy nightlife more than longer visits. Cooking is impossible with the very limited kitchen equipment. The lower floor can be noisy past midnight, with music and lounge chatter, sometimes from staff. The stairs to higher floors are steep and narrow, awkward with luggage. Sadly, some staff are rude. There’s no laundry area, and the dorm security boxes mostly work but are so worn that using them is annoying.

It’s a really nice, relaxed place, with music in the lobby and plenty of couches for unwinding and meeting people from all over. The service was great. I didn’t sleep well, though, because people sharing my room were disrespectful. Maybe guests should get an explanation about this at check-in.

This place is filthy and crawling with cockroaches. The hot water doesn’t always work, the Wi-Fi drops out, and the tiny kitchen is shared by 30-40 people. There’s no free breakfast, despite the false advertising. The staff were all rude, with awful attitudes and energy. The showers are another mess. You’d be better off anywhere else, even jail.

The dorms were dark and quiet, and comfortable even in the middle of the day. Wi-Fi and hot water were good, and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The staff were lovely and friendly, especially Vanesa, who was so warm and nice she could melt a hardened traveller’s heart. It’s a comfortable hostel in a welcoming neighbourhood, with a friendly atmosphere.

The location was good, and the staff were helpful, but my room and the bathrooms were a bit messy. I stayed in a four-bed dorm right by the terrace, so it got loud at night when people hung out there, often until the early hours. Breakfast costs extra, though coffee, tea, and juice are free.
