Abode Buenos Aires

The location made it easy to get everywhere I wanted, and I felt completely safe there as a solo woman who is visibly LGBTQ. Orlando was kind and thoughtful throughout, making me feel welcome and anticipating what I might need. When I mixed up the airports I was flying to and from, he figured it out while I was in the air and redirected the taxi to the right place. My Green Room was clean and comfortable, with its own bathroom and an A/C unit I could control with a remote. Orlando also lent me a metro card to top up and use, as long as I returned it. He made me a lovely breakfast on the rooftop terrace. It was an amazing place to stay. I recommend it to my parents and to any friends or family passing through. Orlando and Abode house deserve all the hype.

Abode is in a great part of Palermo, close to restaurants, cafes, and transport, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Buenos Aires. I stayed there three weeks ago, and Orlando, the owner, was a fine host. He also arranged an airport pickup, which made things very convenient.

The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, in a wonderful part of town. Orlando was a super host when we visited at the end of November. He was easy to reach during the stay, shared lots of ideas for things to do, and made a lovely breakfast every morning. We'd highly recommend staying here. We also really liked the BA bikes southern BA tour, the cafe tortini tango, the boca / el caminito area, bars and restaurants in Palermo soho, and the Japanese garden.

We loved both the hostel owner's friendliness and how willing he was to help. I recommended the place to several acquaintances visiting Buenos Aires, and they enjoyed it as much as I did. It's close to bars and restaurants, in a safe and beautiful area. I totally recommend it. Thank you very much Abode.
