Eurobuilding Hotel Boutique Buenos Aires

During my two nights here, the WiFi never worked. They also kept the $60 USD deposit charged at check-in, even though I had prepaid the full booking. I’ll have to dispute it with my credit card company. If you’re visiting Buenos Aires from abroad, I’d choose another nearby four-star hotel. I wouldn’t make the same mistake again.

We were about a 15-minute walk from the obelisk, so the location was very central. The rooms were spacious and quiet, and breakfast was good. What stood out most was the service: the staff looked after our luggage for 10 days while we traveled around Argentina, and again on our last day after we returned to Buenos Aires. They were the best.

We’d stay here again. The suite was mostly perfect, though the blackout curtains were a little dirty and needed more attention to detail. We only really used the room, so I can’t say much about the other facilities. I did see the pool, and it seemed a bit run-down and in need of better maintenance.

We were able to check in as soon as we arrived because our room was already ready and clean, which we hadn’t expected. The room was huge, with big windows over the main Boulevard and no noticeable street noise. The bathroom was spacious, with a great soaking tub and separate shower. We stayed 14 days, and I loved the wardrobe, the eight or so hangers, and all the drawers. I could unpack completely. Stay above the fifth floor if you can. The location, with the picture of Evita on a nearby building, was absolutely great, and the view was wonderful. The staff were helpful throughout. The cleaning staff were excellent, and the front desk was great. Thank you ANNA, Angie, Natalia, Fabio, and Pablo, and the lady with dark hair whose name I’ve forgotten. I had two unfortunate mishaps, one connected to the hotel and one unrelated, and the hotel handled both with genuine concern. I appreciated that a lot. Thanks again, ANNA and ANGIE. I paid for breakfast with the stay, but hardly ate there. It seemed more European style, and I wouldn’t pay for it again. There are plenty of places nearby if you want a full breakfast. The pool is very small, and the gym isn’t even as big as our room. Nobody offered to help with our bags when we arrived or left. One odd thing: there was a wine-shaped glass bottle of water in the room. It wasn’t sealed or cold, and the water didn’t taste very good. After a day and a half we bought our own bottled water, then found out we were charged for the room water as a minibar item. That seemed strange. A new sealed bottle every day would be different. The USB port by the bed didn’t work, which was really inconvenient. When I mentioned it, Pablo said nothing could be done. The pillows were way too soft. Even with extras, I still sank into them, lol. Still, it’s a great place and I’d stay again.
