The location is the one nice thing, but there are plenty of other options in Recoleta. This was my fourth hotel stay in Buenos Aires and easily my worst. The rooms are dated but okay, while the old bathrooms smelled like sewage. Service was the worst part: on two different days we returned between 4:30-5pm and our rooms still weren’t ready, even though their room cleaning schedule runs until 5pm. At check-in, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned either. The previous guest had showered, and there was water and used towels on the floor. The rooms also have poor noise isolation, so there was tons of noise. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. This isn’t a good option.

The breakfast was underwhelming, and the old towels were stained and worn. The toilet door creaked, too. The rooms didn’t have minibars, even though booking.com advertised them. I think the four-star rating just means there’s a big lounge on the ground floor with a few paintings.

The hotel is in a good location, and my first impression of the lobby was positive. But my ground floor room smelled bad. The towels were awful, old, grey, and stained, and the blankets and duvets had no covers and yellow stains. Breakfast was bad.

The location is great, but it wasn’t worth staying here. We found cockroaches several times, and the towels were old. The night attendant tried to put us in what seemed like the worst room in the hotel, calling it a “new” addition. Everything in it was falling apart, and the ninth floor has no elevator access. Choose somewhere else.
