Gardel Flats

It was a really unpleasant stay, probably the worst hotel I've ever been in. The ceiling had no lining and was covered in dust and cement, and there was a strong smell of paint. The bathroom had no shower enclosure, so water got everywhere, and it took ages for the hot water to come through.

The only good thing about this place was Mariano at reception. I booked a double bed, a minibar, and a mini oven, but got a room with two single beds and none of those things. The bathroom was awful, leaking water everywhere until it was like a pool. When we complained, the attendant said that was normal and we only needed to worry if the water reached the room. We had to ask for a squeegee every day. The cleaning was terrible too. They didn't clean the floor or bathroom, and we never got clean towels. We used the same ones for a week. A couple of friends changed rooms 4 times and then gave up on the hotel. All the rooms on the first floor were moldy. Breakfast was weak, just what you'd expect from this level of hotel.

The photos looked nothing like the actual place. The room smelled musty, the sheets weren't changed, and the mattress was old. The bathrooms had no ventilation and the hygiene was terrible. Breakfast was very basic, and there was no control over who entered or left the hotel. It leaves a lot to be desired for a hotel listed on a platform. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND staying here. It was our first and last time.

I booked through DECOLAR because of the good rating, but when I arrived I saw how bad the hotel was. I slept there one night, left the next morning, then had to pay for another hotel for 4 days. It was awful. I'd give it zero if I could!
