Hotel La Piedad

I stayed here for four months. The staff are friendly and helpful, and little kids are allowed, so if you need peace to rest or get work done, forget it. There were cockroaches in my room. If that's a problem for you, consider somewhere else, though we're in Buenos Aires, so... You can pay by credit card, but it costs much more than paying cash. That's forbidden by law (Ley 25.065, tarjetas de crédito, titulo II - capitulo I - art. 37c), but they don't care. Wi-Fi is available, but often doesn't work. If you really need your computer or smartphone, go elsewhere. I'd give it two and a half stars.

It was okay.

The room was very small, and the bathroom was too. The shower left the whole floor wet, so it wasn't comfortable, and the air conditioning didn't cool very well. Outside, though, there's a roomy covered gallery with extra bathrooms that were always clean, plus a well-equipped shared kitchen and a fridge everyone can use.

We’ve found our place to come back to in Buenos Aires with the family. It’s beautiful, peaceful, close to everything, and Carmen and José both gave very good service.
