The cemetery is within walking distance, and I never expected it to be such an awesome attraction. We stayed May 17-21 in a friendly place in a very nice, safe part of Buenos Aires. The four-bed accommodation worked just as we wanted for five people, and the services were excellent. The elevator light bulb was out, though, so it was pitch black inside. The weather suited me: daytime highs around 72, 73, 74 F and nights around 62, 63, 64 F. One thing to know if you see Tango dancers on the street: they may draw you in and take photos with your cellphone, then tell you afterward it's $10 per person posing. Still, the photos make awesome memories, just be aware of the charge.

We were really disappointed, especially for what we paid. The website photos didn't match our room at all. The apartment needs a thorough clean and renovation, and the pool was in bad shape, with dead flies and dirty water. Inside, the bedsheets were torn, towels stained, furniture low quality, and there was no sofa, so we had to sit on the dining chairs or bed. A chair leg came right off while my husband was sitting on it. The vanity drawer was broken, the shower was old, the bathroom door wouldn't lock, and the air conditioner dripped onto the heater. I wouldn't recommend this place or call it a suite.

Please, "american citizens," don't book this place. The stay felt like a scam from start to finish, and the photos are a hoax. The place was in bad, deteriorated condition, with dirty balconies. It's also too close to a fire station, and the noise and sirens won't let you rest.
