We spent a lovely week at Le Petit Palais. I’d been concerned about the lack of air conditioning, but the leafy inner courtyard, tall ceilings, and fan kept our room cool. The house itself is beautiful, with lots of plants and two shady rooftop terraces. Breakfast was lavish, with a different freshly baked treat each morning, and we enjoyed chatting with other guests and with Ode and Santiago. They were thoughtful friends of Gilles and looked after things during his short absence. The location also made it easy to get to Palermo, Almagro, and Recoleta, with good restaurants, buses, and two subway lines nearby. Highly recommended.

Ode made me feel welcome every day and had plenty of travel advice to share over breakfast. Gilles wasn’t there during my stay at the end of March 2026, but she was a wonderful host. She connected me with Andres, who took me out on his boat in the Tigre Delta, one of my highlights in BA. She also suggested Fogón Asado, where I had my last and best dinner in BA. I loved the three cats too. I hope I can come back one day!

A quiet, character-filled home in a great central spot for visiting Buenos Aires. Just being in the house is special, and the rooms are lovely. Gilles was a warm, helpful host who made us feel completely comfortable. Breakfast each morning was exceptional. Staying at Le Petite Palais was a real treat.

The owner made mornings special with fresh sourdough, croissants, homemade jams, and yogurt, and gave me a detailed map of his favorite restaurants in Buenos Aires. This charming boutique townhouse also has three adorable, well-behaved cats. I loved its polished wood floors, wrought iron window details, beautiful art, and vintage skeleton keys. Every detail made my stay feel special. I highly recommend this unique Buenos Aires bed and breakfast.

Traveling solo, I really liked how guests got to know each other. We’d meet over breakfast and often ended up making plans for the evening, which gave the place a homely feel. The neighborhood felt safe and had plenty of nice cafes and restaurants. Gilles is a gold mine of Buenos Aires tips, so ask him where to eat and what to see. My room was spotless, with daily room service, a comfortable bed, and lovely vintage wardrobe and mirror. I had a wonderful stay at Gilles! :)
