My reservation through Booking Argentina was listed in Argentine pesos, but they tried to charge me using the blue dollar rate of 300 pesos. Booking.com clearly said the price should be converted at the official exchange rate. They kept insisting on the blue rate, then canceled my booking and left me without accommodation. I hope my complaint to the Consumer Protection Agency succeeds. People should know not to give in to demands like this. It’s a shame we’re not in the US, because the lawsuit I’d file there would leave them penniless.

We had the same thing happen as the previous reviewer. We booked through Booking.com at a price shown in pesos, but they wouldn’t answer our calls. They only replied by email, asking us to pay in US dollars at the unofficial exchange rate, which is against Booking.com’s rules. They’d said payment was due when we arrived, but canceled our reservation just hours after asking us to pay in advance. We were left without a place to stay two days before our trip. They’re scammers. DO NOT BOOK HERE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.
