MOT Chic Haus

The reception and room service staff were really nice, and the location is amazing. My room was spacious, with a handy kitchen for a longer stay, plus a balcony looking partly onto the park. Some bits could use maintenance. I didn’t get to try the pool or spa.

The hotel itself seemed nice, but the experience left us feeling badly treated. We arrived from EZE airport late on the evening of December 24 and paid $50 for a cab across the city. We were leaving at 7 AM for AEP, less than 5 km away. The hotel offered no breakfast, despite it being included, saying it was Christmas and too early. They offered no alternative or price adjustment, including for the minibar. They also charged us $50 USD for the airport trip. We chose not to cancel because the driver had got up to work on Christmas morning, but that fare for four kilometres was crazy and made the hotel feel like a scam. This is one of the first bad reviews I've written. I really can't recommend the place.

The rooms were clean and the hotel was great. I'd happily come back.

Palermo's attractions, restaurants and cafes are all an easy walk away, and the location alone makes this feel worth the price compared with other nearby hotels. The room, though, was quite a bit smaller and shabbier than the website photo of the one we'd booked. Service was average, and even after asking a few times we had trouble getting extra towels.
