Nuss Hotel Buenos Aires Soho

The rooftop terrace is great, and the rooms are large and tidy. The gym is small, but has a decent range of options. A very nice hotel.

The staff were nice and the location is fantastic, but the hotel is old and hasn't been updated. It was very loud at night, and a bad sewage smell from the bathroom drains was so strong they sprayed the bedspread and curtains to cover it. We had to switch rooms, and they were kind enough to accommodate us. The towels were good, but there weren't enough, so we had to ask for more. Everything felt very economical. The included breakfast was terrible, with very few choices, and anyone with food restrictions would struggle to eat. The pool area could use cleaning. The workout room only fits one person, and its weights are very light. The dry sauna is a nice touch, but you have to turn it on and wait for it to get hot enough. The elevator holds a maximum of three people, or 225 kg. At about $300 a night, it wasn't worth the money for us.

Our room was big and had all the conveniences you'd expect. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the hotel is right in the heart of Palermo Soho district. A nice boutique hotel.

The room was spacious, but very dark, and its narrow balcony wall blocked the view outside. The bathroom was small, with the toilet right behind the door, an awkward layout. There was a Nespresso machine, but no capsules. The terrace in the listing looked appealing, and the next photo made the basin look like a pool. It isn't a pool, just a 3 by 2 meter basin, 45 cm high. That was a huge disappointment, especially since it's even advertised in the lift. The staff were nice enough, though nothing beyond the usual. When we left, they nearly forgot to return the $100 deposit, and we had to remind the front desk person. What a disappointment.
