They never refunded my reservation money, and the photos in the listing are fake. For your health and safety, don’t go to this hostel. It’s a dump. It’s a scam, what a disgusting place 🤢!

My stay was booked for April 15th to the 23rd. What happened here ruined my trip and left me without a safe place to stay during my 8 day visit to Buenos Aires. I had to make emergency room visits, deal with severe allergic reactions in myself and my child, buy medications, and spend time cleaning and ironing like a madwoman to get rid of the pests. On the first day, I asked to change bedrooms because there was black mold everywhere and the smell was unbearable. I had two children with me, and one had recently had respiratory issues, so I wasn’t willing to let them breathe it in. The second room seemed better, until the second night. After a day of intense itching, which I thought might be from mosquitoes in Buenos Aires, I woke at 4:30 am covered in bedbugs. I started killing them and checking everything. They were even in my 3 year old’s pajamas. I asked for a refund right away and said I was leaving. The refund was sent, but it never reached my account. With everything booked for Holy Week, I had no resources to find somewhere else and was left at the mercy of kind people who helped us. No mother should ever be put in that situation. It’s been over a week, and we now have to file a claim to get our money back. It will take many more weeks to receive the full refund. My child and I both developed severe allergic reactions. We went to Durand hospital for medical attention and then to a pediatric hospital so the children could be seen. I didn’t manage to sleep a full 8 hours any night that week because of the pain and itching. My whole body is bruised and looks disgusting, and I’ll probably have scars. My eldest child’s face may scar too, and they had to receive a Difenhidramine injection. This place is dangerous, with far too many health risks. Basic hygiene standards are non negotiable, and they need to reevaluate how they do things. I wouldn’t wish this on anybody. This place completely ruined what was supposed to be a wonderful trip to such a nice area of Buenos Aires.

We needed somewhere for one night because of some complications, so we decided to try this place. The private room cost $20,000 and was awful, not worth the money at all. The beds were stained and smelled bad, and there were bugs and roaches. The shower didn’t work, so they moved us to another room, but it had the same problem. The bedsheets and pillow there were stained too. I put a pair of shorts over the pillow so my face wouldn’t touch it because I was worried about catching an infection from how dirty the place was. It’s a disgrace that they feel comfortable offering rooms like this.
