The staff were amazing and really tried to make us comfortable. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, with a good bed, even though it faced the street. The location is excellent, next to Don Julio and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. The shared areas are busy all the time, and the lobby and elevators feel too small for a hotel this large. The rooftop pool is tiny and often crowded with families and kids, so there’s no room to relax. The hotel doesn’t seem designed with kids in mind to run around, and I think it should be adults-only. Doors slam, the hallways get loud, and you can hear people coming and going on the floor.

The room was comfortable and the location fantastic. The common spaces could use work, though. The pool area feels odd, with no decent furniture to make it comfortable, and the gym has very little equipment, some of it not working. Fix those things and it’d be close to perfect for the price. Mostly a really good stay.

The breakfast was excellent quality, and the team were kind, friendly and went out of their way to help. I really appreciated that. The location is great in a very cool area. The facilities need work. The gym is horrible, with a couple of rusty machines, and needs updating. Both the sauna and jacuzzi are broken.

I found this hotel’s card security practice highly unsafe and would not stay here. They require the three-digit CVV or security code, but only tell you after payment. Then they won’t let you into the room until you provide both the card number and security code. Even if the staff are honest, a security breach in the hotel’s IT system could put your money at risk. When I asked to see the policy, staff showed me a document saying “valid credit card is required.” It doesn’t say anywhere that they need the security code. Don’t stay here unless you’re willing to hand over your card number and code.
