For about US$35 a night, depending on the exchange rate, why not stay here? The price is good. Breakfast is modest by American standards, but suits the local rhythm, where dinner is huge and late. The cleaning staff tidied our rooms every day, a real bonus since no other hostel we've stayed in has provided that. Most of the staff are warm and welcoming. The ones who didn't speak English still smiled and nodded. Cabs can take you anywhere in the city for US$5 or less. A very nice place, provided you're not a pampered princess.

I used the luggage storage through the Bounce app and had a terrible experience. The staff were abusive to customers and wouldn't respond to the door buzzer or phone calls. Avoid this place.

The only good thing is being close to 9 De Julio. The bathrooms are all shared, with none private. It was a horrible experience, with mosquitoes and bed bugs. Ugh.

The building is an old little palace, with a lovely backyard and terrace, and the location is excellent. Staff were helpful and nice. Breakfast was okay, very Argentinean, and the value for money is great. I totally recommend this place.
