The view and location were a 9.0, and the check-in and check-out staff were friendly. I also loved looking out at the cemetery, such a fascinating place with so much history. But I'm on the fence about recommending this hotel because room 601 felt neglected. Maybe this was just an isolated case, and other guests had newer rooms. We're travelers from the U.S. The room felt dirty, there was mold in the shower, and the mattress was very old, worn, and stained. We checked it carefully for bedbugs and found none. I can imagine the room once looked great, but it needs a makeover now. We booked through Expedia when it showed a 9.0 rating and four stars. At the time I'm writing this, the room felt more like a 4.0. I hope management walks through the rooms and looks for these problems. I don't usually write reviews like this and nearly didn't comment, but we paid expecting a 9.0 experience.

The people were super friendly, and the room was spacious. It's in a great location and includes a nice, small breakfast. If you can get a room facing the cemetery, the view is great.

The receptionist helped us find a restaurant for New Year's Eve, which was much appreciated. The location is right beside Recoleta Cemetery, and our balcony gave us an impressive view over it. It was also a great spot to watch the New Year's fireworks. Breakfast was served at a nearby café, but many of the items listed on the hotel's voucher weren't actually available there.

We spent three days here before boarding a cruise. The view is amazing, and the rooftop pool is a nice extra. I also enjoyed the sauna. The hotel was very clean and well appointed, with a central location close to most attractions. Breakfast was included at a café around the corner, which gave it a local feel.
