On August 25, they canceled the five-night booking I’d made through Booking.com back in May, for an August 30, 2025 stay. I’d paid by credit card. They claimed the name didn’t match the card, which wasn’t true and probably wasn’t the real reason. When I checked again after the cancellation, the price had tripled. That seemed to be the actual reason. Be careful renting this apartment.

I’ve just stayed here for a second time, and it’s a practical option that’s good for the budget. The apartment has everything needed, including the ability to cook your own meals, though there are plenty of nearby restobars too. It’s in the heart of San Telmo, the Tango neighborhood, and Casa Rosada is within walking distance. The apartments feel very safe. The manager has always been available to solve problems and help arrange different services. A good fit for couples, solo travelers, or families.

San Telmo is gorgeous, and the surroundings are really beautiful. I was only passing through, but there are a few things that could be improved to make the stay better.

The apartment was bigger than we expected and had everything we needed, including appliances, towels, sheets, and pillows. The only real issue was the internet: we couldn’t get online at all during the four days. The location is excellent, across from Galeria Solar French and just a few meters from Plaza Dorrego, which is ideal for visiting the Sunday fair. There are fairly steep stairs to get in, though they weren’t a problem for us. It was a very good experience, and we hope to come back soon.
